I have had my Nuvi 765T a couple of months now, and I like it very much. I am about to take my first long trip over the Christmas holiday. Until now, I have used it daily around Pittsburgh, making use of the free lifetime traffic for my daily commutes.
The two newest features added to this model, and the others in the 7X5 series, are the Lane Assist and the 3D Buildings View. If you are buying this model because of these two features, please let me give you some guidance.
The Lane Assist is a very nice feature, but requires some clarification. Part of this feature involves a next turn arrow in the upper left corner of the screen, that shows the distance AND the direction of the next turn, unlike previous models that only showed the distance to the next turn. The graphic shows small arrows that designate which lane to be in, with the ones to follow highlighted, and adjacent ones grayed out. In addition, a graphic CAN pop up with an actual picture of the road sign ahead for the exit, and a large arrow showing the lane change required.
However, this screen does not show up very often at the moment. I have only seen it once around the Pittsburgh metro area, but I expect I will see it on the interstates on my Christmas trip. But that does not take away from the very valuable upper left screen turn graphic, that is very useful. And, I would expect that the screen showing the road signs will be more fully implemented in future map updates, so I am glad I have a nuvi that will be able to take advantage of that.
The 3D Building are not all that fully implemented either. I see them in the downtown Pittsburgh area, and occasionally elsewhere, but have not been able to determine what causes some buildings to be in 3d and not others. After the novelty of the first few days, this feature has little appeal for me around my area. Perhaps I will encounter this outside my area on my trip, and see more use for Nuvi 765T.
As it stands, I would not buy this unit just to get that. On the other hand, Nuvi 765T comes on this and other models with the Lane Assist mentioned above, and I would highly recommend that feature.

Due to the amount of time we spend on the road the chances of us needed to find a great auto body shop may come up more than once. Many people get a little flustered at the thought of deciding on the right place which could work in your price range. Nobody ever knowswhere to start though. Here are a some ideas on choosing the perfect auto body shop for you.
The first step is finding an auto body shop that will fix your car to look like the collision never happened. Fountain Valley Body Works provides high -quality auto care will have the ability to fix your car to a point called pre-loss condition. Pre-loss clause is when the mechanic fixes your cars appearance, body structure, and keeps your cars mechanical dependability.
Then draws customer service, our favorites. Everybody has horror stories about terrible customer service in several places of industry. However, if you are calling an auto body shop that implies that people were once in risk so they should immediatelyask if anybody was injured. As a company the likelihood at making money should never overshadow your needs or concerns. Many body shops are only in the business because they know that everyone will need to have their car repaired at some point. A lot of those businesses don't have an experienced and professional employees. That is why it is so important to discover the correct body shop so you and your insurance company are obtaining what you have paid for.
When dealing with your insurance company, make sure that you fight for the right to pick your own auto body repair shop. Many insurance providers and repair shops have a deal worked out to reduce the shops expense in exchange for giving them business. If a shop bites off more than they can handle it might cut corners and leave you with a bad job to keep the cost down. This also indicates you are paying the insurance company the higher rates and your deductible but are only receiving second rate repair. Some insurance companies may reply by saying that they can’t warranty the work of other shops but in reality all good shops guarantee their work for as long as you own that car. When a shop says that they do not have that standard, it's an indicator to keep searching.
Often ask the person who's calculating your repairs questions. If you are working with a smaller shop the person you might be talking with might be the one working right on your automobile. In larger chain shops they have sales people who do the estimates and have no direct connection or knowledge about your car. The techs workingon your car won't wish to rewrite an approximate to make it the right amount. In no way should we hold back on asking questions when we are confused. Larger shops may have fancy equipment and tools to make people believe that they are much more advanced then other shops but in reality, those fancy tools are rarely even used in fixing your car.
Constantly ask the body shop regarding their insurance programs or DRP(direct repair programs) because this will mean they'll not make their own business and need the help of a deal. Definitely not all shops that have these programs are bad shops however it can defiantly be a red flag.
The most successful solution to find the best body shop is through word of mouth, so ask around. Most people would never send you to a place where they were not happy with the labor they were offered.
Now if you are stuck in a bind after a crash you'll have the right info and questions to ask before selecting the body shop for you. The final and the most important matter to take into account is, if you ever experience uncomfortable or pressured by a body shop, move on because they may be eager for business because they are not identified for their excellent service.

Every car has its own language to communicate. And it only speaks with the one, who has the ears to listen to it. To speak with the cars, you need to understand its language; you need to see beneath its mechanism. When you will start to know your car, your car will be your faithful pet, delivering you the best service that you deserve. The first step to get acquainted with a car is to know its different parts and their mechanism, and to understand its necessity of proper care at the right time.
The cars under the category of entry level luxury sport sedans incorporate various features at a single time. It is a craze among the youth for its slick performance, precise design and trendy features. These cars are synonymous with power, speed and slender movement. On the other hand, these cars fulfill the need of comfort, luxury and relief, offering a peaceful drive. Sedans do not need any words to prove their excellence and being the entry level cars, they have facilities of easy control and smooth running. Here is a preliminary overview of the three most popular sedans under this category –
Audi A4
Audi A4 is an entry-level luxury sedan, which was introduced in the market in 1996, received a makeover in the year 2002 and was redesigned in 2005. The 2002 model was more spacious and had more powerful engines than the 1996 model. This model is rather spacious and is currently one of the top selling cars in its category. It is giving BMW 3 series’ sedan a very tough competition. Additionally the service costs of the Audi, are much lower than the BMW and most repairs can be completed inhouse with the proper Haynes Audi A4 Manual.
The new Audi A4 is very fast and agile. The Audi A4 was redesigned in 2002. The redesigning made its interior more spacious adding other popular features as well. It comes with a variety of add-on optional packages that you may opt for, or you may buy specialized accessories from a reliable dealer. Often accessories, like music players and woofers that are bought separately, have better quality as well as lesser price than the one offered in a package deal.
VW Passat
The Volkswagen midsize sedan, VW Passat was first introduced in 1974. Volkswagen made a radical departure from its general make with the introduction of the VW Passat. The very name of the, Volkswagen meant the people’s car, but the VW Passat falls under the entry-level luxury cars.
The Passat has a better style and performance level than an ordinary Volkswagen. It is slightly bigger than a Volkswagen, which has the size of a midsize sedan. It was again updated in the year 2006. When compared to an ordinary Volkswagen, the Passat is far more appealing and luxurious. The Passat received the top score for safety in European crash testing. It has excellent safety features that earned it the five stars, while it got four out of the five stars during the United States’ side crashing.
While the Passat has the style of an entry-level luxury sport sedan, it also has the traditional strengths of a Volkswagen. It has strong road handling ability and quality interiors with good craftsmanship. The Passat’s price is higher than most mid-sized Sedans and it has a distinguished style about it, which ironically, sets it apart from being a car for the common people. The high pricing of the 2006 Volkswagen is the result of the enhancement of standard equipments that includes items like anti lock breaks. However, this feature is optional in other Sedans. The VW Haynes Volkswagen Passat Manual transmission is a very popular option.
BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 series is an entry-level luxury car, which is available in many different makes like coupe, wagon, convertible and sedan. The Sedan version of the BMW 3 series was upgraded and redesigned in 2006. The BMW 3 series is a descendent of the BMW 1600 made in the mid 1960’s. It is often considered as the first sedan with a sports car like performance. The BMW 3 series is still popular as a benchmark for sporty sedans.
The car was first introduced in 1977 and instead of the rectangular box like shape it had an aerodynamic design. The sedan’s design has integrated the BMW’s style language. The 2006 BMW 3-Series has offered two types of Sedans – 330iSedan and 325i Sedan. Both sedans are the first to use BMW VALVETRONIC with the six-cylinder engine.
The BMW 3 series is a fifth generation model and thankfully for BMW lovers, it did not give this model any weird style like bulky rears. But on the other hand, it maintained a classy elegant style. The BMW series 3 has many added features like power front seats and a better sound system with an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player. For those of you who are going to be maintaining your BMW yourself, the BMW 330 Repair Manual by Bentley is one of the best on the market.

If you´re someone that likes to drive in style then you have many options when buying a new or used car. There are many cars that not only look very different than all the other cars on the road, but will offer you an array of luxury options and special packages. Three cars that are very comfortable and stylish are the Chrysler PT Cruiser, the Volkswagen Eos, and the Saturn Astra. These three vehicles are all mid-sized cars that will offer you plenty vehicle service and repair manuals. Also, you will be sure that your car will look different from all of the other cars you encounter on the road because of the unique shaped bodies that these cars have. If you have the money to drive one of these three cars, then you should definitely look into buying one, either new or used.
The Haynes Chrysler PT Cruiser Manual is as in depth as a manual gets and the vehicle is known for it´s extra space and comfort on the interior. If you´re driving with a full load you won´t have to worry about being cramped either in the front seat or the back seat because this car has plenty of leg room for everyone. If you´re planning on carrying extra luggage to go on a trip, or just carrying home a load of groceries, this car will have plenty of space to hold whatever your daily routine may demand. The Chrysler PT Cruiser may be known for it´s roomy and comfortable interior and it´s great style, but it is not known to handle well or be incredibly reliable. There are many people that have owned this car and complain that after just a few months of owning it they have to take it to the dealership to get things fixed. If you´re looking for something that is going to be stylish and different, this may be the car for you but make sure to check into the specific model year before buying to see if it is known to have a lot of problems.
The Volkswagen Eos, as with some of the newer models of the PT Cruiser, is a convertible. This car has two doors and a retractable hard top so you can either enjoy the convertible or a closed interior on cold or rainy days. The advantage that this car has is that even the most basic model that you can buy comes with a lot of added luxuries for you comfort. You can, of course, choose to invest more to get a whole range of added luxuries that Volkswagen offers for the Eos. This vehicle is also very stylish but has a whole different style than the PT Cruiser. This car, however, is designed to be a little sportier than the PT Cruiser and doesn´t offer as much storage space. Many people have complained that the trunk size is less than sufficient. If you´re looking for a unique, stylish car but aren´t incredibly fond of the looks of the PT Cruiser, this may be the car for you. The Haynes Volkswagen Eos Manual is also a top notch resource for the at home mechanic.
The Saturn Astra may not be as unique or luxurious as the Chrysler PT Cruiser or the Volkswagen Eos, but it still is a very stylish car. This is a hatchback which has a great interior design and is also known for it´s great handling. This car is a very reliable choice and is a little bit more affordable compared to it´s other two competitors. If you´re looking for a car that´s going to be stylish, affordable and very comfortable, this may be the car for you. Also, the Saturn Astra repair manual is one of the best books on the market. One major con that this car has is that it´s not offered in a sedan, so if you aren´t a fan of hatchbacks, this may not be the car for you.

Saturn cars on sale
People shopping around for cars and auto loans should take notice: You might have an opportunity to get a brand new Saturn car for a used-car price. Same goes for Pontiac.
General Motors has axed both the brands, so Saturn and Pontiac are basically having a fire sale right now. It’s sort of unclear how this sale works, so maybe someone can enlighten me about how this makes these cars “used” when they haven’t been sold to consumers.
Incentives plus price slashing
First of all, GM says it will pay dealers “$ 7,000 for every new Saturn or Pontiac on their lot that is moved to rental-vehicle or service-vehicle fleets operated by the dealers,” says the Wall Street Journal. Essentially GM is paying dealers to take ownership of these cars. So that’s weird and backward. Right?
Then, dealers have to label them as “used” because the dealers are technically the first owner, not customers. Obviously, most of them won’t be used, and they’ll have either zero or test drive mileage on the odometer.
A little help?
What’s missing here? This strategy really makes no sense to me. Why doesn’t GM simply give a bonus for Pontiacs or Saturns sold? Why not just slash prices instead of going through the process of justifying and slapping a “used” label on there?
I’m still waiting for this to click. The brands have gotten the big ugly axe, so obviously there isn’t much, if any, value left in either Saturn or Pontiac brands. I’m at a loss. Maybe you have your own thoughts on the affair.
The bottom line
Anyway, regardless of exactly what GM and its dealers are doing and why they are doing it, you could be able to buy Pontiac and Saturn cars for super cheap, so if you’re thinking about getting a new car sometime soon, you might want to set your plan in motion sooner rather than later.

Rental Car Availability
Every year, rental car agencies sell the older vehicles in their rental fleets and restock with the newest models. Larry Lovejoy, from the Automobile Consumer Services Corp (ACS) said, “These cars can be a great deal for the average buyer. They have been well-maintained, so in essence you are buying a nearly-new car with no worries about mechanical problems. Furthermore, (if you buy a rental car from a car dealership) some dealers might extend the warranty for the full term or you can drive it under the balance of the warranty.” This means every rental agency sells a lot of cars in good condition that get replaced with new cars, either directly to buyers, or to dealerships that mark the cars as “fleet” or “program” vehicles.
Rental Car Reliability
In order to keep customer satisfaction high and ensure repeat rentals from customers, a rental car agency must maintain their vehicles in optimal condition, both mechanically and physically. This means the drive train, interior and exterior are very well maintained on rental vehicles; after all, no agent wants to have a client stranded on the road with a break down or be unhappy because the power seats do not operate properly.
Whenever a rental car is returned to the agency, it’s thoroughly inspected and checked with great care and detail to be ready for the next rental. Engines and transmissions are routinely checked for noises or problems, and quickly repaired. Periodic maintenance is performed on schedule including oil changes, transmissions fluid changes, radiator flushes and fills, wiper blade replacements, belt and tire replacements, windshield wiper fluid refills, antifreeze checks and fills, and brake adjustments or replacements. Obviously, the quality of maintenance might not be as good with a private owner, therefore a used car from a private owner might be in poorer condition.
Interior and Exterior Maintenance
Often, private citizens fail to perform much-needed maintenance on the inside and outside of their vehicles. Rental agencies can’t afford this neglect. The cars have to look as close to brand new as possible, so people want to rent them. This means that after each and every rental, a vehicle is detailed inside and checked for any wear and tear on seats and carpet. When problems appear, they are repaired before the minor damage becomes noticeable. Any dings in the exterior get repaired quickly, and the paint is maintained with regular washes and waxes to keep up the appearance.
Where to Buy Rental Cars
Now that you understand why former rental cars are great buys, where do you locate those which are available for purchase? Lovejoy of ACS said, “(Used car) dealers like these cars because they can get them at low prices and sell them at a good profits.” Often you’ll find advertisements in the newspaper about sales on “program” or “fleet” cars in a dealerships’ used car lot, or at a used dealership. The CarFax.com report on the car will tell you if it was a rental car. You could contact rental car agencies directly, and find out if they have any vehicles for sale. Some rental agencies advertise their available vehicles in newspapers and sell them directly to private buyers; often you can get the very best price by going directly to the rental car agency.

Today is a great time to buy a new or used full-sized van, Ford offers the Econoline, Chevy offers the GMC offers the Sprinter. Ford is offering zero percent interest for forty- eight months, GMC and Chevy is offering a similar deal with zero percent interest for sixty months. If you are in the market for a used full size van business that have gone out of business are offering these work horses for pennies on the dollar along with everybody who just needs to unload these gas hogs.
The Haynes Ford Econoline Manual offered by Ford and has been marked with bad reviews by owners for the lack of power in the 4.6-liter 16-valve V8 that generates 225 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque. But you do have the alternative of buying the 5.4-liter 16-valve V8 that can produce 255 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This model V8 will give you the power that you need to haul or tow. Handling is not something that this vehicle is known for and it lives up to this by driving like a fore ton hunk of metal. The interior is nice easy to maintain but the seat cushions are not as thick as some of the other full sized vans. The Econoline is priced at eighteen thousand dollars for the basic and thirty thousand dollars for the top end model. The Econoline gets 12 mpg city and 21 mpg highway.
The Haynes Chevrolet Express Manual comes in as top model of our 3 vehicles. The powertrain options and great seating capabilities are just some of the standout reasons that make it a great full size van. It is a favorite amongst tradesmen, taxi services, and delivery drivers. The Express comes in 2500, 3500 and 3500 EXT models, all these models can be configured for a passenger or work van. It comes in a standard and extended wheel base. The Express is priced at twenty three thousand dollars to thirty thousand dollars depending on the options. The Express gets 10 mpg city and 17 mpg highway.
The Haynes Dodge Sprinter Manual is an interesting option offering up to ten passenger seating, great performance considering its size and has plenty working applications. The Sprinter comes in two engine models the 2500 and the 3500 both engines give plenty of power for towing and hauling. Dodge offers a Passenger package and a Cargo van option. With the passenger van you can get away with the 2500 engine but if you do not want to be disappointed when trying to haul that trailer with an already full load then the 3500 should be the only engine you look at. The sprinter comes in a variety of trims and packages. It is priced thirty one thousand dollars for the base models and up to forty fore thousand dollars for the high end trim models. It does not have the resale value of some of the other full sized vans, you can pick up 2005 2500 high ceiling model for fifteen thousand dollars making it an interesting option. It gets twelve miles per gallon city and nineteen miles per gallon highway.
No matter what van you decide on remember when you go to buy a new model that the car industry is willing to make a deal, the base invoice price is the price you should be shooting for when you walk into your local car dealership. If your buying a used model van remember these vans have been driven and used hard the mileage on one of these is not the same as on your go to work Corolla. The best thing you can do to protect yourself is to bring a mechanic or some automotive repair manuals along to inspect it.

The new Ford Sedan in Jacksonville has car enthusiast gazing into its eyes, and eyeballs peering from everywhere. Ford has created a more appealing Taurus than it previously has with an all new look for everyone to see. The all wheel drive Taurus has a beautiful newer look with sleaker, more athletic looks, the redesign with subtle changes is much easier on the eyes. The biggest changes to the new Taurus with availabilities of 3 sizes of tires and rims upon request, along with a lowered roof line and 2” wider than last years models with a quieter ride and easier handling. Makes this Ford Taurus an unbelievable match-up for its competitors. The 2010 Taurus, however, is a real beast. Sure, it sits just over an inch closer to the ground, but it’s still 61” tall—2 inches or more higher than most every other vehicle in its class, And while width can convey coolness, 76.2 inches is 2 inches more in width than Mopar’s 300C and 3.5 inches wider than a BMW 5 Series.
The SHO design of the Ford Taurus has a very distinctive look while giving you much more bang for your buck, if you know what I mean. Only the C-pillars and deck lid have the SHO signature, also front bumper LEDs have silver trim as a replacement for the black ones which are featured on the lesser models. A combination of chrome tailpipes, spoiler on the trunk, and a more appealing front grille take care of the exterior makeup. From the outside to the inside the SHO Taurus is even more alert.
Your basic Taurus features more traditional faux-wood and synthetic trim, while the upgraded model aquires a unique cast, glossy black dash trim, and more metallic highlights inside and out. With gorgeos power bucket seats that accommodate great comfort and power to the owner, not to mention how spacious the interior is, with a great amount of head room. Keeping up the trend setting Ford Taurus is just one of multiple reasons change is here to stay.

Looking for Used GMC Brunswick these days can be somewhat enjoyable for anyone, particularly if you live in a big city where a search for a Used GMC Brunswick returns too many choices of car dealers. Now buyers are making the choice to travel across state lines in order to purchase a Used Chevrolet Brunswick and save some money. Customers able to buy a new car ordinarily begin by doing thier searches online, since you can negotiate your price without ever having to get in the car and take a ride. With fuel prices at an all time this makes great sense to any wise car shopper out there to stay at home and shop online. When it comes to finding that hard to find piece of information, or a present for that certain someone the internet can be used like a well oiled machine.
Buying a used vehicle is what many hard workers were tring to avoid two years prior, but with the market taking a downward spiral and the construction industry drying up, most of us had to get back in to our old vehicles in order to keep more money in our bank account. Cutting back on personel and extremely high advertising is what the New and Used cas buisineses are doing to keep a penny, which in this economy the penny is more valuable today than in previous years.
Having money in your pocket and being able to buy that new car you always wanted used to be a down payment away, but now it seems people are having to purchase used vehicles more and more. It’s become alot harder than just taking candy from a baby tring to make a dollar today. The used car buisiness happens to be a better way to comfort your income in this economy. Having great drive and finding more honest and genious ways to generate funds in the used car buisness is about the only way I can think of.
